At British Recycled Products our belief in cutting carbon and supporting our local economy informs all of our business decisions. This is why all of our products are all made as locally to us as possible.
Most of our recycled plastic products are made for us at the nearest possible location; a specialist factory in Halifax, 7 miles away, although some of our bespoke products are manufactured to our exact specifications by a social enterprise that employs disadvantaged people in an inclusive work force in Lancashire, 21 miles away.
The rubber made from recycled car tyres that make our tactile paving and our speed cushions, as well as the backing for our notice boards, comes from another specialist unit 6 miles away.
As the technology is complex, we have had to travel 44 miles to find a factory able to provide the products we need manufactured from recycled polystyrene. Obviously, we wish they were nearer but, considering the majority of other companies supplying products made from recycled materials to the UK market either are from other countries, or use imported materials, we hope that you'll forgive us!
